Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully. They provide you with important information about your holiday.

3. Holiday Details

1.1 Prices: A minimum of 2 adults or 3 children must share a room or a room supplement of £100 will apply.
Children are under 15. Babies are under 3.
Babies must be provided with their own food and share a room with 2 paying adults or 3 paying children.
Any discounts and reduced rates are subject to availability.
1.2 Availability: Please phone or email  to check availability and make a provisional booking.
1.3 Booking: Please return the completed booking form and payment within 10 days otherwise we will assume you have cancelled your provisional booking. We will then send you written confirmation of your booking. Please check the confirmation very carefully, you need to inform us within 10 days if there are any errors, otherwise we will assume you have accepted the booking.
1.4 Payment: A non-returnable deposit of £80 or 120 euros per person per week is payable at the time of booking. The final balance MUST be received 8 weeks before your holiday is due to start, otherwise we reserve the right to treat it as a cancellation. For your complete financial security all payments received from clients will be held on deposit by us until after completion of your holiday. Only government action or tax changes will alter the agreed price of your holiday.
1.5 Changes: Please inform us immediately of any changes to your booking and we will try our hardest  to accommodate your request. In the unlikely event that we have to make changes to your booking we will refund all monies you have paid to us. We cannot be held liable for any changes caused by actions out of our control.
1.6 Cancellation: After the booking has been accepted any cancellation in full or part must be made to us in writing. We will charge the following cancellation fees depending on when you notify us and when your holiday was due to start.
More than 8 weeks = deposit, 8 to 4 weeks = 50% of total holiday cost, 4 weeks up to your start date = 100% of total holiday cost.
If Skialot Ltd. have to cancel your booking any money you have paid to us will be refunded.
2.1 Insurance: It is the responsibility of all guests to have insurance to cover for cancellation, third party, personal accident and loss of possessions. Please provide us with details of your insurance cover with your booking so that we can be of maximum help in the event of an accident, claim or cancellation. We regret that if you have no insurance we will be unable to help you and you may not be covered for a holiday cancellation. You are advised that some holiday ski insurance requires you to pay for treatment yourself and then claim it back off your insurance on your return.
2.2 Passport & Visa: It is the clients responsibility to be in possession of a valid passport and visa.
2.3 Liability: Skialot Ltd. and its employees cannot accept any responsibility for injuries caused by personal negligence. Clients skiing alone or with an escort or guide do so at their own risk at all times.
2.4 Weather: Skialot Ltd. is not responsible for adverse weather conditions affecting travel arrangements or the ability to ski or snowboard.
2.5 Damage and Losses: If the chalet, fittings, contents, equipment or vehicles are damaged or lost, by any guest, the people responsible or their guardians will be liable for the cost of repair or replacement.
2.6 Conduct: All clients must behave in an acceptable manner which does not threaten or disturb the enjoyment of others. We reserve the right to cease all contractual obligations in such circumstances.
2.7 No Smoking in the chalet: As a requirement of our insurance and for the comfort of others, smoking is NOT allowed anywhere in the Chalet. Clients wishing to smoke can only do so outside in the covered area by the side door.
2.8 Comments and Suggestions: If you have any comments or suggestions that would improve our service, please tell us.  We want you to have the best possible holiday.
2.9 Complaints: Please let us know if you have any complaints and we will do everything possible to put them right.
2.10 Correct Information: All Information provided is subject to change but we will make every effort to inform you of any alterations  or corrections as soon as possible.
2.11 English Law: The contract shall in all respects be governed by English law and shall be deemed to have been made in England and subject to nonexclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
3.1 The following information explains the basic arrangements. Our aim is to be as flexible and helpful as possible with each individual guest or group.  If you have any specific requests please ask us and we will do our best to acommodate your needs.

3.2 Arrival and Departure Saturday is our usual changeover day. Your room will be ready by 16:00 on arrival and we ask you to vacate it by 10:00 on the day of departure.

Your holiday includes:
3.3 Accommodation: Linen & individual towels (one set per stay or week) and use of chalet facilities including the Sauna.
3.4 Meals:
Breakfast (08:00 to 09:00),  Tea (16:00 to 17:30).
Your winter holiday includes:
3/4 course evening meal including wine on 6 nights. Children 18:00 to 18:30
Adults 19:30 to 21:30
The chalet kitchen is closed one night per week (normally Wednesday) and you will need to eat out at a local restaurant.
This is not included in your holiday price.
3.5 Minibus: We will always try to provide at least one morning drop off and one afternoon pickup each day.
3.6 Ski escort: We will always try to provide a minimum of 4 days guiding per week to show you the best of the mountains, bars & restaurants.

3.8 Transfers: Travel to and from Chatel (flights, train, ferry or channel tunnel). Minibus pickups from Aigle train station, Geneva (airport or train station) or Thonon train station are by prior arrangement and are dependent on group size and availablity. The chalet has limited free outside parking but there is an underground car park in the center of Chatel available for a weekly charge.
3.9 Ski Passes: These can be purchased for you prior to arrival.
3.10 Equipment Hire
:This is normally organised on your arrival and can be paid for by Cash or Credit Card at the end of your stay.
3.11 Lessons
: These can be booked prior to arrival but they must be paid for in advance. It is recommended that you book lessons as early as possible, particularly during the busy school holiday periods.
