Welcome to Chalet Châtaigne! Your Cosy Mountain Base in Châtel. From June until October, we run as a laid back B&B just 5 minutes from the centre of town.
Were perfect for families, couples, or friends who love the outdoors, the chalet combines private en-suite bedrooms with inviting shared spaces designed for comfort and connection.

BEDROOMS
We offer 7 private rooms with shared social spaces. Perfect for families, couples, solo travellers, and outdoor enthusiasts alike. All rooms can be set up as single or double beds. There is a mix of en-suite and shared bathroom options.
We’re bookable on a room only basis, meaning our stays are perfect for meeting like-minded mountain lovers!. It’s also possible to book exclusive use for your group (book instantly online for groups of 8 or get in touch direct for larger bookings)!
Linen: To keep things affordable, rooms are priced without linen. You're welcome to bring your own, or we can organise your rental. Please request linen in advance to ensure availability. A shower towel is provided free of charge:

RENTAL AGREEMENT
Bed Set-Up
All rooms can be set with single beds, or pushed together and set as a double.
Please let us know your sleeping arrangements in advance.
Linen not included, bring your own or enquire with us to rent locally. We need at least 5 days notice to organise.
Children
Children 15 and under get 15% off; under-5s stay free.
If room is for Children only, add KIDS in the promo box at check out for 15% off
If room is mix of Adults and Children, please message direct so that we can send you a booking link with applied discount.
Payment & Cancellation
A 50% Deposit is due upfront.
Full payment is due 3 months before arrival.
Single Supplement is 40% [add SINGLE in the promo box at checkout]
If booking exclusive hire in Winter, the price is based on 4 bedrooms. A supplement will apply for extra rooms.
Cancellations:
50% refund if cancelled 30+ days before check-in.
No refund if cancelled less than 30 days before or for no-shows
House Rules
No smoking inside the property.
Pets could be allowed, upon agreement in advance only.
Quiet hours: 10pm–7am.
Only registered guests may stay overnight.
Damage & Security
Guests are responsible for any damage during their stay.
We do not take a security deposit however we like to work with an honesty policy.
Please ensure you lock the chalet behind you.
Use of Property
During the Summers, we run predominantly as an B&B, there is a kitchenette for self catering, plus you can liaise directly with our host Emily should you wish for her to organise a private meals at an extra cost. No transport is included, but can be organised directly at an extra cost. Confirmed based on availability.
During the Winters, our stays run Sat-Sat only and are catered, via an on site chef (see details on site). Our host/driver will also drive you to & from the slopes (included in your price). It us up to you to get to and from your stay with us, we do not include airport transfers.
The property is for short-term holiday use only.
Guests must keep the property clean and respect neighbours
Lift Passes
These can’t be discounted this year, but we can still supply them to help you skip the queues and head straight to the slopes.
